CONNEAUT AREA FRIENDS OF MUSIC
The Conneaut Area Friends of Music is the booster organization for the Conneaut School District Music Departments. Our objective is to support all music activities at all levels in the Conneaut School District by lending financial and moral support to the programs as well as cooperating with the Music teachers to create a successful music program. We are parents, family members, music educators and friends that appreciate music and have an enthusiastic interest in the success of the music programs.

The Friends of Music is a volunteer organization. This means that your willingness to volunteer is at the very core of our success. We understand that many things compete for your time and talent, but we hope you will consider the value of supporting your students music experiences while they are in school.

The Friends of Music hold regular meetings on the first Monday of every month at 6:05 pm in the Conneaut Area Senior High Band Room located in the Alice Shafer Annex. Membership in the Friends of Music is open to all parents/legal guardians of current music department students as well as any other interested person. Come along with us and be a part of music in our schools!
The Friends of Music have a Facebook Group. It's a great place to get updates and find out the latest information. Click Here to get connected.

Fundraisers
One of the key functions of the Friends of Music is coordinating fundraising for Music students. These fundraiser help students earn money to pay for Music Department activities, such as overnight and day trips, marching band equipment, and band jackets. Fundraising also helps pay for supplies, transportation, awards and much more. As the School District continues to squeeze their budget, it becomes more important for us as Friends of Music to raise funds so that our students can continue to experience a great music education and music experience.

Volunteer Clearances
PA Act 153 requires that every person responsible for the welfare of youth obtain and keep on file, comprehensive and regularly updated criminal and child abuse background checks. This means that all Friends of Music volunteers that wish to chaperone, help at Band Camp or otherwise help supervise the students must have their clearances.

If you have already completed your clearances, please bring a copy of them to one of the Friends of Music officers. If not please see the link below for more information on how to obtain your clearances.
